LEGAL ENTITY NAME CHANGES

Following the retirement of the Bank of America Merrill Lynch brand in late 2019 and to create a unified branded experience for clients, Bank of America will be renaming four of its international legal entities from November 1, 2020. All clients impacted by these changes have been notified in advance and we do not anticipate consequent significant change to the services we provide to our clients.

Bank of America is our enterprise brand and also represents our banking services for people and companies. BofA Securities is the brand of our institutional broker-dealer businesses worldwide, including Global Markets, Investment Banking, Capital Markets and Research.

BofA Europe will continue to be a company incorporated with limited liability in Ireland and will continue to be a credit institution, authorised and regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. The name change does not affect any existing rights or obligations of the Bank.

Bank of America Yatirim Bank A.S. will continue to be authorised by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey and is regulated by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Authority (BRSA) and Capital Markets Board of Turkey (CMB). BofA Securities Japan Co., Ltd will continue to be registered as a financial instruments business operator (Kinyu Shohin Torihiki Gyosha) under the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act and regulated by the Financial Services Agency. BofA Securities India Limited will be regulated by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and Stock Exchanges (i.e. National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited). More information can be found can be found on the Bank of America India website.

To align to the renaming of Bank of America Merrill Lynch International DAC (BAMLI DAC) to Bank of America Europe DAC (BofA Europe), from November 1, 2020 we will be renaming a number of our European branches detailed below.
