Euxton Hall Hospital have undertaken the first two Spinal XLIF disc replacement procedures within the independent sector in Lancashire. Led by Mr James Bourne Consultant Spinal Surgeon - the XLIF procedure is a minimally invasive lumbar fusion procedure that can be of benefit to patients with specific symptom and anatomy. The procedure takes one theatre session and the patients are discharged the following morning.

JAG Accreditation

Our Euxton Hall Endoscopy team received an outstanding inspection from the Joint Advisory Group (JAG) earlier this year. Dr Ian Drake, clinical Lead for Endoscopy said “The inspection report clearly demonstrates that we are working to the highest national standards at Euxton Hall and is truly something to be proud of.” Karen Grant, our Endoscopy joined the Euxton Team in June this year.

Congratulations to Euxton Hall Hospital on their 5 star rating from Chorley Borough Council following their inspection for the National Food Hygiene rating scheme. Mark Kimpton, Catering Team Leader said: “We are delighted; I would like to thank the whole team for their hard work and dedication. Our focus is providing outstanding quality for our patients and staff.”

Euxton Hall run an outstanding ‘one stop’ Breast Assessment Service each week. Our team of specialist Consultants, Radiographers, Mammographers and Nurses provide rapid diagnosis for these patients. The team have also been very successfully working with local NHS Trusts during COVID delivering urgent diagnosis and urgent breast cancer surgery. On Friday 23rd October we celebrated breast cancer awareness day and Team Euxton raised £317.41 from the raffle and cake sale for Breast Cancer Now Research Charity.
