The dung beetles are important an important as bio- contributors in ecosystem functioning by providing important ecological indicator to predict the services such as dung removal, secondary seed burial, nutrient cycling, soil aeration etc. The dung that is rapidly buried by beetles loses only 5- impacts of climate 15% of its nitrogen, while volatilization results in the loss of 80% of nitrogen if dung remains on the soil surface (Gillard, 1967). Many cattle change, forest parasites and pest flies require a moist environment such as dung to complete their development.
