The skatepark working group consulted with local skate park users, and the feedback of wanting a more up-to-date and challenging park went into the design process. Potential suppliers provided useful insight into the multiple options available and helped to form outlines of what could be achieved with the budget available. Due to the value of the project a full invitation to tender was carried out in line with the public sector procurement process. Now that a design has been agreed, and the final plans ready, an application for certificate of lawfulness will be applied for with
