ONLINE ENTRIES Entries will be accepted with payment by PAYPAL for Conformation and Lure Coursing.. To enter these events please go to: https://run4funtn.net/ On the top menu click on “Ruff Online Entry” Click on the “IHCUS Entry Form – Beezer Bash” Click the Date you are entering. Complete the form and check ALL Classes you are entering for the show. Check the box for the $3.50 online fee. The amount owed shows at the bottom of the form. Put this amount in the “Entry Fee Total”. Click Submit. Then click Add to Cart. Repeat the above process for each dog you are entering. Once you have all your entered go to your cart and pay for the entries. If you submit the form but do not pay for your entry it will be considered an incomplete entry and will not be accepted.

There is a $3.50 fee PER ENTRY. PLEASE add this to each dog’s total.

DIRECTIONS

From the Kansas City Area – I-35 to I-435 West to Highway 10 to Lawrence. Take Hwy 10 to Clinton Parkway on the West side of Lawrence. Turn Left, stay on Clinton Parkway until it dead ends. Turn Right. Stay on this road to Clinton State Park entrance – 2nd left. Turn left into the park, it is before the RV Storage.

For I-70 Drivers – Take I-70 (East from Topeka, West from Kansas City), exit at Lecompton, turn South, this is Highway 10. Take this to the Clinton Parkway Exit, at the stop sign, turn right. At the next stop sign, turn right again, then take your 2nd left into Clinton State Park.

In the Park – Once in the park, go through the Permit Station, have your $$ ready. Get back on the main park road, Take the 2nd left, this is a horseshoe drive, follow it, and you will find us. Watch for the signs.

Waiver of Rights ~ Animals in Distress Ibizan Hound Club of the United States. reserves the right to remove any animal in distress from a parked vehicle or crate, and all persons attending these dog shows hereby waive any claim for damages against the club for such removal. The club regard the health, safety, and life of any dog on the show grounds to be paramount to other property or privacy rights.

An exhibitor may set up ringside a crate for containing a dog if the dog must be left unattended while the exhibitor shows another entry, policy to be flexible to accommodate exhibitor needs.

Best of Breed Competition Awards of Merit

Non-Regular Classes – Single Dog Entries Veteran Dogs, 7 Years and Older Lure Coursing Dog Brace (same classes for bitches) First place winners of the Veteran Dog, Veteran Bitch, Lure Coursing Dog and Lure Coursing Bitch Classes are eligible to compete for Best of Breed. Ribbons will be awarded for all four placements in these Classes. Any Veteran or Lure Coursing hound defeated in the Veteran and Lure Coursing Classes, if entered in Best of Breed, may not compete for Best of Breed unless allowed by the judge.

Neutered dogs and spayed bitches are allowed to compete in the Veteran and Lure Coursing Classes at this Regional specialty show (AKC Rules Applying to Dog Shows, Chapter 11, Section 8).

NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS

The show giving club. members, Directors, Agents, Medina Kennel Club, Run4FunTN and the host hotel will not be responsible for the loss or damage to, or death of any dog exhibited or for possessions of any exhibitor, whether the results of an accident or any other cause. It is distinctly understood that every dog at the show is in the care and custody of his owner or handler during the entire time the dog is in the show area or grounds at Purina Farms. Do NOT leave any dog in closed vehicles. The club reserves the right to remove any dogs found in distress in a vehicle on the showgrounds. The welfare of an exhibitor’s child is assumed to be the responsibility of the exhibitor. It is distinctly understood that exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children on the days of the show. Any exhibitor whose dog and/or child creates unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engages in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Event Committee, be asked to leave the show site. In such cases, no refund of any fees paid will be made. All persons and animals on the showgrounds at any time while the shows are in progress, do by attending these shows or participating therein, grant to the Club the right to photograph, televise, videotape, audiotape or otherwise use their likeness and voice in any manner without further release or consent. Dogs must be ready for judging and need be present only for scheduled judging. Dogs will be released if not needed for further judging. The Club will not be responsible or obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring. All dogs must be held on leash or confined to their crates at all times except when in the ring being judged, in a covered exercise pen or when in the designated warm-up area. No un-entered dogs or puppies under four (4) months of age are permitted at the show site. Dogs are allowed in rings during judging only. Returned checks/declined credit or debit cards do not constitute a valid entry. Acceptance of entry will only be made if the indicated entry fees, plus a returned check fee of $35, are paid by cash, certified check or money order and received prior to the start of judging. Entry fee will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or judge or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian’s recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites and any communicable diseases and have appropriate vaccinations. No entry fees will be refunded if the Show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbance, fire, extreme and/or dangerous weather conditions, an Act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, strikes or any other cause beyond the control of the Club or Show Secretary. No entry shall be made, and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Entries will not be accepted without fees, signature or the “Agreement” on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form. Changes, additions or corrections to entry forms must be received in writing prior to close of entries. The Ibizan Hound Club of the United States and Run4FunTN does not agree to arbitrate claims as set forth on the Official AKC Entry Form for this event. MEDIA: No filming of this event, except for one’s personal use, unless cleared by the Show Committee. By attending or participating in this event, all persons grant the show-giving club the right to photograph, televise, videotape, audiotape, or otherwise use their likeness, voice, or dog without further release or consent. All rights to televise, videotape, advertise, photograph, promote or otherwise exploit this event are vested in the Club, or in persons to whom assignments of such rights have been made in writing by the Club.

Notes for the weekend: • Make sure to bring shade and water for your hounds • Animals are NOT allowed in Public Restroom Buildings • Please park in designated areas • If you are new to the sport, grab someone and ask questions! We’re always happy to help “newbies” learn the ropes! • Anybody exhibiting unsportsmanlike behavior will be excused from the Show and may be subject to further disciplinary action. • No cigarette, or VAPE smoking on or near the show grounds • Vehicle Permits Required – If the vehicle is not displaying an annual vehicle permit, then upon arriving each vehicle MUST stop and purchase a daily permit. Payment may be made at the Pay Booth (when Open) or right past it to the Self-Pay Station located across from the Park Office. • For Self-Pay – After completing the info on the envelope and enclosing fees, please retain the back-sticker portion and display on the lower left driver’s side of the windshield. You may add your camping fees to the same envelope. Deposit the envelope in the metal payment slot over the words “Self-Pay”. • Daily Permits are $5 each and are good until 2 pm on the following day.

IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFORMATION An inherent risk of exposure to communicable diseases exists in any public place. Communicable diseases can be extremely contagious and/or lead to severe illness. and death. Event attendees voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to communicable diseases. It is incumbent upon event attendees to follow CDC and AVMA guidelines to prevent the spread of communicable diseases.

COVID PROCEDURES • Please wear a mask when in close contact with others and in any of the show areas. When you are gaiting your dog, you may drop your mask but as soon as you're done gaiting, put your mask back up. • Maintain social distancing of six feet. • Wash your hands frequently. • There is no ringside seating, however, exhibitors can bring their chairs but must maintain social distancing between each other and from the rings. Household units are free to sit together. No group gatherings or congregating in the show areas. • When approaching the rings for showing, only the steward will have access to the ringside catalog and armbands. The steward will look it up for you if necessary. To facilitate this process, please know what armbands you need. • Please maintain a reasonable distance from the table and the person in front of you when securing your armband. • Stewards and judges will wear masks and judges will have hand sanitizer available between each examination. • Exhibits-will line up outside the ring maintaining social distancing and exhibits will be called into the ring as each judge deems appropriate. The judge will direct you as to how to prepare your dog for exam. Follow the judge's direction. When gaiting with other exhibits, maintain a distance between exhibits. After placements are made, please leave the ring and, if you are not going forward in the judging of that breed, please leave the area. • The judge or steward will direct those who will remain as to where they are to wait for Best of Breed judging. • The above rules are our attempt to have a fun event and still maintain a level of safety for all who attend. We will have committee members circulating to ensure that everyone understands the rules and to answer questions. We ask that you honor any request made of you. • If you are not feeling well, please stay home and get yourself healthy. • Please be respectful of everyone. • Wrist bands will be given out to each person turning in their waiver form.

Each ring will have an entrance and an exit gate to cut down on traffic.

AGREEMENT I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog. Additionally, I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend and save the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting there from, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this event, however such, injuries, death or property damage may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may be alleged to have been caused by the negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees, agents, or any other persons. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs which, according to their owners’ records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship. 3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e, age division, color division, weight division. 4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his/her name.
