Fantastic study on a lifestyle and cultureBy jefhendricksonAs a designer with over 30 years in the menswear industry I can tell you that Amy Leverton has gotten my attention. The dude stories, while short and focused, are rich and intricate in a way that weaves together a master story on denim and indigo.I especially like the geographic breakdown because it allows you to appreciate how culture can shape an appreciation of a staple. My only regret is that now I truly wished I had kept some of the I gave up! She's made me feel like - compared to these guys - I've sold my soul for the sake of a cleaner closet. I've given up my children! Ah well.This is a fantastic study on a lifestyle and culture that runs so deep within the veins of so many of us. The blurbs on each subject are short enough to be interesting, but long enough to cover the subject.
