St. Patrick’s Church will close again this Sunday and will remain closed until the renovations are fully completed. Sunday Mass will return to Derrygonnelly Community Centre next Sunday 24th September at 11.30am. We thank the committee for their understanding and support. Sunday: At all Masses throughout the Diocese of Clogher next weekend 23rd and 24th September, we will address the issue of Suicide in a sensitive, prayerful, and supportive manner; in a way that allows all of us to reflect on depression and suicide through the lens of our Christian faith.

‘Working together to promote greater understanding’: The local Clergy invite you to a talk on Wednesday 27th September at 7.30pm in Tir Navar Restaurant. The speaker will be Alan McBride, , a tireless worker for peace. His wife Sharon was among nine people killed in the Shankill bomb atrocity in 1993. Alan also sits on the board of Healing Through Remembering, a group set up to find ways of allowing Northern to address its troubled past. We are very much looking forward to hearing Alan speak and the ministers extend an open invitation to come and hear Alan speak about his experiences about ‘working together to promote greater understanding’.

Parish Draw September will take place in Monea on Saturday 23rd September. All monies taken on Wednesday 20th September in the Parish Office at 8.15pm. Derrygonnelly Harps GFC: The Jackpot Draw in Old Pal’s on Sunday night. This Sunday sees the conclusion of Sunday Morning Footy for 2017. We commence as usual at 11.15am and finish at 12.30pm. Don’t forget to bring your Lotto ticket with you! Fermanagh Ladies play Derry in the TG4 All Ireland Ladies Championship Final in Pairc an Chrocaigh on NEXT Sunday 24th of September 2017. Our own Eimear Smyth is a member of the team. As much support as possible would be appreciated. Parishioners are also encouraged to display the County Colours that weekend in support.
