SHORT HUNTER DIVISION 43-44 Short Stirrup Hunter Over Fences 45 Short Stirrup Hunter Under Riders 10 years old and under. Mounts not to exceed 14.2 hands. Riders may not cross enter into any other division except Short Stirrup . To be shown in the ring over 18" fences.

LONG STIRRUP HUNTER 28-29 Long Stirrup Hunter Over Fences 30 Long Stirrup Hunter Under Saddle Open to riders 11 years old and over on any size mount, or 9 and 10 year olds on mounts over 14.2 hands. Riders may not cross enter into any other division except Long Stirrup Equitation. To be shown in the ring with fences not to exceed 2’.

SMALL/MED PONY HUNTER DIVISION - 7-8 Small/Med Pony Hunter Over Fences 9 Small/Med Pony Hunter Under Saddle Open to small ponies 12.2 and under at fence height of 2'3" and medium ponies over 12.2 and not exceeding 13.2 hands at fence height 2'6". All ponies to be ridden by a junior. To be shown in the ring.

LARGE PONY HUNTER DIVISION - 22-23 Large Pony Hunter Over Fences 24 Large Pony Hunter Under Saddle Open to ponies over 13.2, but not exceeding 14.2 hands, to be ridden by a junior. To be shown in the ring over 2'9" fences.

MODIFIED HUNTER - 59 Modified Hunter Over Fences 60 Modified Hunter Combination 61 Modified Hunter Under Saddle Open to & ponies. /rider combinations may not show in any pointed performance divisions in this show. Riders competing in other performance divisions may, with permission of the show steward, ride a Green Horse/Pony but are not to be judged and will not accumulate points towards year-end awards. To be judged on manners, jumping style, even hunting pace, way of going, soundness, and suitability. Extreme speed to be penalized. This division is intended to provide a stepping stone for long stirrup riders not yet ready to ride in performance divisions with fence heights exceeding 2'3". This is a pointed division. Adults may ride ponies. Horse & rider combination may ride in Novice Equitation at this show. To be shown in the ring over 2' Fence Heights for ponies and 2'3" fence height for horses. Riders may be required to jump in and out of the ring.

GREEN PONY HUNTER DIVISION - 1-2 Green Pony Hunter Over Fences 3 Green Pony Hunter Under Saddle Open to Juniors and Adults riding mounts 14.2 hands and under. A green pony is a pony of any age that is in its first or second year showing over fences of any height, equitation and merited divisions included, and has never been shown over fences of the regulation height or higher for its respective section prior to December 1st of the current competition year. To be shown in the ring over 2' fences.

BABY GREEN HUNTER DIVISION - 13-14 Baby Green Hunter Over Fences 15 Baby Green Hunter Under Saddle Open to all horses in their first year of showing over fences at or exceeding 2'3". May cross enter into any other division where the jump height does not exceed 2'6". To be shown in the ring over 2'6" fences.

CHILDREN’S HUNTER DIVISION - 16-17 Children’s Hunter Over Fences 18 Children’s Hunter Under Saddle Open to all juniors riding a horse. Riders must be eligible under the USEF’s amateur qualifications. Riders may not cross enter into any other division jumping higher than 2'6" in this show. To be shown in the ring over 2'6" fences.

LOW AMATEUR ADULT HUNTER DIVISION - 10-11 Low Amateur Adult Hunter Over Fences 12 Low Amateur Adult Hunter Under Saddle Open to adults on horses. Riders must be eligible under the USEF’s amateur qualifications . Riders may not cross enter into any other division jumping higher than 2'6" at this show. To be shown in the ring over 2'6" fences.

SMALL/MED SCHOOLING PONY DIVISION - 67-68 Small/Med Schooling Pony Over Fences 69 Small/Med Schooling Pony Under Saddle Open to ponies 13.2 & under, to be ridden by a junior. To be shown on the Outside Course over 2' fences.

LARGE SCHOOLING PONY DIVISION - 70-71 Large Schooling Pony Over Fences 72 Large Schooling Pony Under Saddle Open to ponies over 13.2, but not exceeding 14.2 hands, to be ridden by a junior. To be shown on the Outside Course over 2'6" fences.

SCHOOLING HORSE HUNTER DIVISION - 73-74 Schooling Horse Hunter Over Fences 75 Schooling Horse Hunter Under Saddle Open to all horses and to both junior and adult riders. To be shown on the outside course over 2'6" fences. Riders & mounts may cross enter into other divisions where eligible.

JUNIOR HUNTER DIVISION - 76-77 Junior Hunter Over Fences 78 Junior Hunter Under Saddle Riders in this division shall not have reached their 18th birthday by December 1st of the previous year . Open to all horses over 14.2 hands. To be shown on the outside course over 3' fences.

ADULT AMATEUR HUNTER DIVISION - 79-80 Adult Amateur Hunter Over Fences 81 Adult Amateur Hunter Under Saddle Open to adults on horses. Riders must be eligible under the USEF’s amateur qualifications. To be shown on the outside course over 3' fences.

HOPEFUL FIELD HUNTER DIVISION - 91-92 Hopeful Field Hunter Over Fences 93 Hopeful Field Hunter Under Saddle To be shown on the outside course over 2' fences. Not an HHSA division.

SUITABLE FIELD HUNTER DIVISION - 82-83 Suitable Field Hunter Over Fences 84 Suitable Field Hunter Under Saddle To be shown on the outside course over 2'6" fences. Not an HHSA division.

FIELD HUNTER DIVISION - 85-86 Field Hunter Over Fences 87 Field Hunter Under Saddle To be shown on the outside course over 3' fences. Not an HHSA division.

HUNTER PAIRS - 88 2' Hunter Pairs 89 2'6" Hunter Pairs The horse may change at a designated spot on the course. At least one fence to be jumped abreast. Entry fee: $12 per horse. Not an HHSA division.

MASTER’S CLASS - 90 Master’s Class All first and second place ribbon winners shown on the outside course over fences will be invited to ride as part of a hunt field, following the direction of a Huntsman. To be judged on the horse most suitable and mannered for the hunt field. Horses/riders will only be required to jump the height at which they qualified. No Entry Fee. Not an HHSA class.

PLEASURE DIVISIONS - shown in the RING To be judged on performance, suitability, willingness and their ability to give a safe and comfortable ride with an emphasis on manners. May be asked to , hand gallop or do an extended trot. To be shown in English tack.

Martingales prohibited. Fences 2'. Ponies may cross enter into Green Pony and Schooling Pony. Ponies may be shown in Short Stirrup Hunter with a different rider. Ponies may be shown in equitation divisions.

PLEASURE HORSE DIVISION - 56 Pleasure Horse Over Fences 57 Pleasure Horse Combination 58 Pleasure Horse Under Saddle Open to all horses. Martingales prohibited. Fences 2'6". Horses may cross enter into Baby Green and Schooling Horse. Horses may be shown in Modified Hunter with a different rider. Horses may be shown in equitation divisions.

LEADLINE WALK DIVISION (No Leadline Attached) - 31 LeadLine Walk - No leadline attached 32 LeadLine Walk - No leadline attached Open to riders 7 years old and under as of December 1st of the previous year who have not earned a blue merit award in Mini Stirrup or Short Stirrup division in the current competition year. HHSA Members in this division may not cross enter intoany other division at this show. Mounts not to exceed 13.2 hands. Run under the specifications of HHSA Rules. Ribbons to all.

LEADLINE WALK/TROT DIVISION (Leadline Attached) - 33 LeadLine Walk - Leadline attached 34 LeadLine Walk -Trot - Leadline attached Open to riders 7 years old and under as of December 1st of the previous year . Riders may not cross enter any other division except Lead Line Walk division. Not an HHSA division. Ribbons to all.

MINI STIRRUP EQUITATION DIVISION - 35 Mini Short Stirrup Walk 36 Mini Short Stirrup Walk-Trot 37 Mini Short Stirrup Walk-Trot-Pleasure 38 Mini Short Stirrup Combo (Walk-Trot + 2 Crossrails) Open to riders 10 years old and under as of December 1st of the previous year and who have not earned a blue merit award in Short Stirrup division in the current competition year. HHSA Members in this division may not cross enter into any other division at this show. Mounts not to exceed 14.2 hands.

LONG STIRRUP EQUITATION DIVISION - 46 Long Stirrup Walk 47 Long Stirrup Walk-Trot 48 Long Stirrup Walk-Trot-Canter 49 Long Stirrup Over 2' Fences Open to any Junior rider 11 years and older or Amateur Adult rider. This division is intended to be for older beginner riders and those riders not yet able to show in regular pointed divisions. Junior riders under 11 years old may enter with a horse after first obtaining show management permission. Riders may not cross enter into any other divisions. Fences 2'.

EQUITATION 13 & Under DIVISION - 4 Equitation 13 & Under - Over Fences 5 Equitation 13 & Under - Under Saddle Open to any Junior rider 13 years and under as of December 1st of the previous year. Fences 2' / 2'6".

EQUITATION 14-17 DIVISION - 19 Equitation 14 -17 Over Fences 20 Equitation 14 -17 Under Saddle Open to any Junior rider who has reached their 14th birthday, but not their 18th birthday, as of December 1st of the previous year. Fences 2'6" / 3'.

ADULT EQUITATION DIVISION - 26 Adult Equitation Over Fences 27 Adult Equitation Under Saddle Open to any Adult rider 18 years and older as of December 1st of the previous year. Fences 2'6" / 3'.

NOVICE EQUITATION DIVISION - 62 Novice Equitation Over Fences 63 Novice Equitation Under Saddle Open to all Junior and Adult riders who have not won more than 3 blue ribbons in any open equitation class. No age limit. Fences 2' / 2'6".

HARFORD MEDAL - CHILD ON A PONY For all junior members of HHSA only. Judge will select up to 8 riders to come back and work on the flat. Fences 2'/2'6"/3'. Class 6.

HARFORD HUNT SEAT MEDAL - CHILD ON A HORSE For all junior members of HHSA only. Judge will select up to 8 riders to come back and work on the flat. Fences 2'/2'6"/3'. Class 21.

USET MEDAL - For Adult or Amateur Members of the HHSA only. Judge will select up to 8 riders to come back and work on the flat. Fences 2'6"/3'. Class 25.

“A MORE TACK” EQUITATION MEDAL - Open to Junior riders. Shown over a course of 2’ or 2’6” fences, rider’s choice. The top four horses will return for a test as a group or individual. Shown in the ring. A special prize will be donated by A Bit More Tack. Class 94.
