Bus Passes must be applied for before the end of the first week of the new term or your child will be refused travel. A discount of £15 per term, £45 per annual fee or £5 per month will be given per additional child from the same family. To reserve your child's place, please sign and complete all pages on the Bus Pass Application Form along with 2 recent passport sized photos which have the child’s name and route number stated on back of the photo.

FAILURE TO PROVIDE ALL RELEVANT INFORMATION MAY RESULT IN YOUR BUS PASS BEING DELAYED

Direct Debit Following a successful first year, we are continuing the Direct Debit option for 2016 / 2017. These payments are set up online on our website (www.travelcatteralls.co.uk) via a very simple process. To use this service, you must have a valid email address. Once you have completed the application form, we will, via Gocardless.com, send you an email asking you to authorise a Direct Debit. You will be asked to fill out a brief form with your details which will enable Gocardless.com to create the Direct Debit. Once you have filled in the form, we will receive that information and set up the appropriate payment plan for you. Your bank statement will show Gocardless.com along with our reference information. The entire set up should take you no longer than 5 minutes. If you have any queries regarding this service, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

The start date is 9th September 2016, to be paid on the 9th of every month thereafter, and the final payment date will be 9th April 2017. The cost is £84 per month for the first child, any additional children from the same family will be charged at £79 per month. Should you default on your payment, your child WILL be refused travel until it has been rectified. It will be your responsibility to get your child to school during the period of refused travel.

THIS IS TO ENSURE THAT EVERY SEAT ALLOCATED HAS BEEN PAID FOR .

Cancellation/Refunds By choosing the monthly payments, you are agreeing to paying for the whole 8 month period. There is not an option of cancelling this part way through the year if you subsequently choose not to use the service. If you feel you will not need the pass for the whole school year, a termly pass should be chosen as cancellation of the bus pass will not result in a refund. This is to combat previous abuse of the system that we have been informed of by users of our services, for which we are grateful.

Replacement Passes There is a £5 fee for the replacement of a pass. Payment can be sent by cheque/cash payable to “Catteralls Coaches” to our office or handed to the coach driver with a letter giving the pass holder’s name and school. You can also call the Office on 01926 813192 to order a replacement if you are paying by debit card (Credit cards incur an extra 4% charge) A replacement will be issued as soon as possible. START DATE: EXPIRY DATE: CONDITIONS OF TRAVEL & DECLARATION It is the responsibility of the parent / carer to ensure that their child reaches the bus stop/pick up point safely at least 5 minutes before the scheduled departure time. We ask that students: Once on the vehicle, we ask that students: *DO NOT play at the bus stop / pick up point *Respect the driver and do not distract him / her *DO stand well back from the kerb whilst waiting *Do as asked by the driver for the bus *Do not use inappropriate or bad language *DO NOT approach the bus until it has stopped *Do not lean out of the windows moving *Behave appropriately to other students on board *DO NOT attempt to get off the bus before it stops *Do not smoke, eat or drink whilst on board moving *Do not shout or scream at others whilst on board *DO NOT attempt to cross the road until after the *Do not throw items around the vehicle bus has gone *Stay seated for the whole journey until the coach has stopped at their stop * *Present their pass when boarding the vehicle *Wear their seatbelt at all times (this is a legal requirement) Conditions on which Travel could be Refused  Child does not have a valid bus pass  Child cannot produce their current pass on 3 consecutive days of travel without applying for a new / replacement pass  Acts in a manner deemed unreasonable / damaging towards other passengers, our staff or our vehicle  If payment is still outstanding from previous years / terms We reserve the right to refuse travel until the situation has been rectified. Should such a refusal be issued, it will become the responsibility of the parent / carer to ensure that the child gets to and from school. Please note refusal to travel does not immediately constitute a Permanent Ban.

Conditions on which a Permanent Ban could be issued A permanent ban will be issued in writing and only  following repeated refusals with no improvement shown or  in incidents of serious or dangerous nature.

The ban will only be issued after being agreed upon by Catteralls Coaches and the School. Should a child be banned from the bus, no refunds will be given on any monies paid.

We fully expect to collect your children as per the published timetables, however, in the event of an unavoidable delay, children must remain at their pick up point for a minimum of 20 minutes after their departure time.
