Evans; Footnotes AZERI outsprinted rivals for the early advantage, set the pace well off the rail along the backstretch, maintained a clear advantage to the top of the stretch, shook off IMPERIAL GESTURE in upper stretch then drew off under a vigorous hand ride. FARDA AMIGA broke a bit awkwardly, was unhurried for a half while between horses, angled four wide while launching her bid on the turn then finished willingly to edge IMPERIAL GESTURE for the place. IMPERIAL GESTURE broke a half step slowly, moved up from outside the contest the early pace, forced the pace outside the winner into upper stretch, ducked in briefly nearing the furlong marker then weakened from her early efforts. STARRER broke inward brushing with MANDY'S GOLD at the start, raced well back to the turn, lugged in slightly in upper stretch then failed to threaten while improving her position. MANDY'S GOLD was bumped a bit at the start, raced five wide to the turn then lacked the needed response when called upon. TAKE CHARGE LADY strung out six wide on the first turn, raced within striking distance along the backstretch, angled in on the turn then steadily tired thereafter. TWO ITEM LIMIT checked slightly along the rail on the first turn, never reached contention. SUMMER COLONY raced in the middle of the pack while saving ground for six furlongs then gave way leaving the turn. Copyright 2009 Equibase Company LLC. All Rights Reserved..
