The Raiders will finish 2015 with a 3-5 record at O.co Coliseum. The Raiders swept the San Diego Chargers in a season series for the first time since 2010. It marks the team’s first season sweep of a divisional opponent since 2012 (Kansas City). Woodson Plays Final Home Game S Charles Woodson played in what is expected to be his final home game at O.co Coliseum. The game marks Woodson’s 78th career regular season game at O.co Coliseum, the sixth most by a player in the stadium’s history. Woodson finished the game with two tackles (one solo) and one rush for -3 yards, according to unofficial press box statistics. The rush marked Woodson’s first career rushing attempt. Three Milestone Men The Raiders now have a 1,000-yard rusher (RB Latavius Murray), 1,000-yard receiver (WR Amari Cooper) and 3,000-yard passer (QB Derek Carr) in the same season for the fourth time in team history and the first time since 2005 (LaMont Jordan, Randy Moss and Kerry Collins). The other two occasions were in 1997 (Napoleon Kaufman, Tim Brown and Jeff George) and 2000 (Tyrone Wheatley, Tim Brown and Rich Gannon). Janikowski Ties NFL Record, Kicks Game-Winning FG K Sebastian Janikowski connected on a 50-yard field goal for his 52nd field goal from 50-plus yards, tying Jason Hanson (52) for the NFL record for the most career field goals of 50-or-more yards. Janikowski finished the game 2-for-2 on field goals including the game winner from 31-yards out in overtime. That marks Janikowski’s 14th career game-winning field goal, sixth in overtime and first since Oct. 21, 2012 vs. Jacksonville (overtime). With two made field goals, Janikowski has moved ahead of Nick Lowery (383) for the 10th most field goals in NFL history. December 24, 2015 Carr Climbs Touchdown Lists QB Derek Carr tossed one touchdown in the game, tying him with Peyton Manning and Russell Wilson (52) for the second most touchdown passes through a player’s first two NFL seasons. Carr’s 31 touchdowns now stand alone as the second most in franchise history, trailing only Daryle Lamoncia’s 34 touchdown passes in 1969. King Sets Franchise Mark P Marquette King pinned his 34th punt of the season inside the opponent’s 20-yard line, setting a new franchise record for punts inside the 20 in a season since the statistic became official in 1976. King finished the day with six punts inside the 20, giving him a team-record 39 on the season. With one game remaining, King’s 39 punts inside the 20 are tied for the eighth most in a season in NFL history (since the statistic became official in 1976). In total, King punted eight times for 400 yards for an average of 50.0 yards per punt with a 65-yard long and six punts inside the 20 with zero touchbacks. Murray Eclipses 1,000 Yards RB Latavius Murray totaled 79 rushing yards in the game, giving him 1,035 rushing yards this season. Murray is the Raiders’ first 1,000-yard rusher since Darren McFadden in 2010. Murray broke a 22-yard run in the first quarter for his sixth rushing touchdown of the season. The 22- yarder marks Murray’s first touchdown rush of 10-plus yards in 2015. Murray is the first Raider with six-plus rushing touchdowns in a season since Rashad Jennings (six) in 2013. Crabtree Leads Receivers, Reaches 80 Receptions WR Michael Crabtree led the Raiders in receptions (six) and receiving yards (39), while also hauling in his eighth touchdown of the season in the fourth quarter. Crabtree is the first Raider with 80 receptions in a season since 2002 (Jerry Rice, Tim Brown and Charlie Garner). He is the fifth different Raider ever with 80 receptions in a season (also Tim Brown and Todd Christensen). Crabtree is the first Raiders player with eight touchdowns in a season since Tim Brown (nine in 2001). Autry Notches Sack and Safety DE Denico Autry sacked Chargers QB Philip Rivers in the end zone for a third-quarter safety, the Raiders’ second safety of the season. Autry now has three sacks on the season. The Raiders have now recorded two safeties in a season for the 11th time in team history and the first time since 2010. The franchise record is three safeties in 1981. Smith Forces Fumble, Mayowa Recovers LB Malcolm Smith was instrumental in Sunday’s win, recording a game-high 14 tackles (11 solo) with two tackles for loss and one forced fumble, according to unofficial press box statistics. Smith now has five career forced fumbles and has tied a career high with two this season. The fumble occurred in the fourth quarter and was recovered by DE Benson Mayowa, who scooped it up and returned it 40 yards to the Chargers’ 3-yard line. Mayowa now has a fumble recovery in back- to-back games, the only two recoveries of his career. December 24, 2015 Rushing Defense Stout The Raiders defense was solid against the Chargers’ rushing attack, holding San Diego to 72 yards on 25 attempts for an average of 2.9 yards per attempt. The defense held San Diego to 10 carries for 15 yards (1.5 avg.) on the ground in the first half, tying the Raiders’ lowest first-half total allowed by the Raiders this season. December 24, 2015 .
