INTRODUCTION All students are expected to participate in state assessments. The Arkansas Alternate Portfolio Assessment System is designed to evaluate the performance of students with disabilities for whom the ACTAAP Benchmark and End- of-Course Examinations are not appropriate. The Alternate Portfolio Assessment System for Ninth-Grade Mathematics for Students with Disabilities allows for a collection of student
