Rocky River The character of the reservation is strongly influenced by the river. Massive shale cliffs rise above the willows, sycamores and cottonwoods, and many trails wind through the valley’s RIVERGATE Reservation deep floodplain forests, meadows and wetlands. The reservation includes a nature center, marina, stables and three golf courses. Trails Guide • Respect the fragile nature of the environment by staying on the trails. • Enjoy the natural environment, but do not disturb, destroy, deface, injure, or remove any part of the Park District including plants, animals, rocks, buildings, Cleveland Metroparks Police signs, equipment or property.
