MIPS Member Institute of Professional Sound - Member of Irish Film and Television Academy Biography Ronan Hill won his fifth Primetime Emmy for Game Of Thrones S8 "The Long Night", also winning Primetime Emmys for outstanding sound mixing Game Of Thrones S7 "Beyond the Wall", Game Of Thrones S6 "Battle of the Bastards", Game Of Thrones S5 "Hardhome" and Game of Thrones S2 "Blackwater". He has seven Emmy nominations. Ronan has won six Cinema Audio Society awards for outstanding achievement in sound mixing Game Of Thrones S8 "The Bells", Game Of Thrones S7 "Beyond the Wall", GOT S6 "Battle of the Bastards", GOT S5 "Hardhome", GOT S4 "The Children" and GOT S3 "The Rains of Castamere receiving eight consecutive season CAS nominations. He has also won six consecutive Technical Excellence Creativity awards for outstanding creative achievement Game of Thrones S3, S4, S5, S6, S7 + S8. He won an IFTA for Best Sound in 2014 for Game of Thrones S3, one of five nominations for the show. He won an IFTA in 2008 for “Kings”, again in 2009 for “Hunger” and has received a total of ten nominations.
