How to Join the Library Anyone who lives in the Jericho Union Free School District may become a library member. A photo identifi cation and a second identifi cation indicating your home address are required (driver’s license, utility bill, etc.). You may check out three books until the Library card is received in the mail. A yellow Preschool Program Registration card will be given to children from birth to 4 years of age. Children may have a library card when they are fi ve years old. Primary Election There will be a statewide election for the 2018 Federal Primary Election on June 26, 2018.

General Election Tuesday, November 6, 2018 To vote, you must be a registered voter in the general or primary elections. To register, you must be a United States citizen, be 18 years old by the date of the election you want to vote, live at your present address for at least 30 days before an election, not be in jail or on parole for a felony conviction, and not claim the right to vote elsewhere.

There are 56 School Districts in Nassau County. They all vote annually for board members and budgets. The school districts set regulations for voting under the parameters of the Education Law. All appeals should go to the Commissioner of Education.

There are 54 public libraries in Nassau County. Libraries whose budgets are voted upon by the public set their own date for voting within the time period required by state law. America the Beautiful Senior Pass: Th is federally issued card entitles U.S. citizens, age 62 and over, entrance into any National Park.
