There is a ballot drop box at Carefree Town Hall located at 8 Sundial Circle, Carefree, from now through November 3rd. Hours on 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 6:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd.

Ballots are picked up by the certified Maricopa County Election staff daily. In-Person Voting Two local in-person voting locations are: The Cave Creek Council Center, 37622 N Cave Creek Rd, Cave Creek, AZ 85331. This location will be available for in-person voting from October 21st through November 3rd with hours indicated below: 10/22/20 thru 10/31/20: Monday – Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 11/2/20: Monday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 11/3/20: Tuesday (Election day) 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. The Spirit in the Desert Retreat Center, 7415 E. Elbow Bend Road in Carefree. This location will be available for in-person voting on: 11/2/20 (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) and 11/3/20 (6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.). You do not have to wait until November 3rd to vote in person. You can vote any time in person from October 21st through November 3rd. You ballot will be counted and processed.

October 16 @ 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Ed Skibbe – Country, Folk, Rock n Roll & blues is what Ed is all about. Ed’s bringing his 45 years’ experience as a professional working musician, producer and songwriter to Sanderson Lincoln Pavilion, providing an experience everyone will enjoy.

October 17 @ 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Black and Blonde – Milly Gollinger Davis and Lisa Poff Culbert play sweet acoustic covers of your favorite pop tunes. Both are well-established in the Valley music scene, and are accomplished singer songwriters.

October 23 @ 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. A Man Called Ed – Music inspired by Dylan, the British Invasion, modern Alt-Country, and everything in- between, compared to Neil Young, but uniquely A Man Called Ed.

October 24 @ 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. As Is – Buzz Babins and Gayle Nelson play a mix of covers from the 60’s and 70’s as well as their own originals inspired from these generations. Known across the Valley as musical hosts, performers, teachers and directors, they know how to deliver a great show.

October 30 @ 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Glenn Torrico and Mary Lababidi are set to play Jazzy Standards from the Golden Age. Glenn has wowed audiences for years with his smooth and unique jazz guitar accompanied by Mary’s soothing vocals and sweet mix of the keys. Together this duo brings an amazing energy to the stage.

October 31 @ 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Halloween Maskerade

4 5 It’s not a trick, Fit To Be Tie-Dyed Production in conjunction with the Town of Carefree, is announcing a free to the public live music event, the Halloween Maskerade, to be held at the Sanderson Lincoln Pavilion Saturday October 31, 2020.

Headlining the Halloween Maskerade is Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and guitar legend Greg Douglass. Greg Douglass has been instrumental in the music scene for over 50 years, and played with the Band, Hot Tuna, Band, and has been on tour and in the studio with dozens of top artists. Greg will anchor a day of music which will also feature 5 fabulous local performers including Kevin Causey, The Sarah James Project, Glade F. Wilson, Tom Brady and Mike Assad, and Laura Joy.

The Halloween Maskerade starts at 1:00pm, with artists playing every hour, and Greg Douglass taking the stage from 6pm to 8pm. Social distanced seating, within the open air Sanderson Lincoln Pavilion is provided, and expanded patio seating is available at nearby restaurants. You can also bring your own chairs and set up within the Carefree Desert Gardens. As the name suggests, bring your favorite face covering, safety is the priority, but creativity and fun is encouraged.

The Sanderson Lincoln Pavilion is located in the heart of Downtown Carefree, which features dozens of shops, restaurants and art galleries, so make a day of it, enjoy some music, and treat yourself to some fun, or book a room at Civana Resort and Spa Carefree and make a weekend of it.

Join Carefree galleries on the First Thursday of every month beginning October 1st through May 6th, 2021 for our seasonal Art Walk. Carefree’s First Thursday event series invites visitors to stroll, shop, dine and enjoy an evening celebrating the arts in downtown Carefree! These events help support local businesses and local creativity which make our Arizona culture a better place to live, work, and visit.

The art walk is FREE and self-guided, every month, 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., and offers FREE PARKING. Begin at any gallery, then continue on to other participating galleries. Enjoy a diverse display of artistic styles and mediums, meet the artists, enjoy refreshments and engage in conversation about art and architecture.
