University of Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship Overview

• Established in 1996, the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship is an ACGME accredited program which provides comprehensive training and experience in sports medicine. • Our program is sponsored by the UW Department of Family Medicine and Children’s Hospital. • We accept candidates with training in family medicine, internal medicine and pediatrics through 2 tracks (FM/IM and Pediatric). • The University of Washington is situated in the beautiful city of Seattle, a veritable mecca for those who enjoy the beautiful outdoors & city life. • The clinical experience of the UW Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship is designed to allow our fellows to develop expertise in caring for a wide range of medical and musculoskeletal problems in individuals of all ages • There are longitudinal clinical experiences (primary care, sports medicine, training room) as well as specialty rotations • Fellows typically get between 30—400 U/S guided procedures, including > 150 diagnostic ultrasounds • Fellows carry their own panel • Sample schedule Salary & Benefits
