In 2020, ESPN named Peach Bowl, Inc. one of four national finalists for its Corporate Community Impact Award – a category in the annual Sports Humanitarian Awards. The finalist designation recognized the creation of the Peach Bowl LegACy Fund to fight childhood cancer and included a $25,000 award for the LegACy Fund.

As the original recruiter and founding sponsor of the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame, the Peach Bowl College Football Hall of Fame is committed to the success of our sport’s national shrine. LITERACY INITIATIVE Peach Bowl, Inc., in partnership with the Chick-fil-A Foundation, the College Football Playoff Foundation and the Atlanta Football Host Committee, invested $2 million in a three-year literacy training initiative to train teachers in advanced reading instruction. Reading proficiency has increased dramatically among K-5 students.

Endowed Scholarship ACADEMIC MENTORING PROGRAM The Peach Bowl’s academic mentoring program provides an Academic Coach to maximize their students’ potential by helping them improve study habits, prepare the SAT and ACT, and apply and transition to college. The Bowl has invested $2.2 million in the program which has helped students achieve higher GPAs and graduation rates.

The Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl has made a strong commitment to helping Atlanta students further their secondary education. The Endowed Scholarship Program currently operates scholarships at 32 universities with scholarship assets totaling $7.4 million. Relief Efforts

Stepping up during a critical time in the mitigation of the Coronavirus, Peach Bowl,Inc. donated $1.09 million in support of Governor Brian Kemp’s plan to scale COVID-19 screening and testing statewide in Georgia. The donation helped provide for the telemedicine screening mobile application developed by Augusta University Health System which allows people to be screened for the virus virtually, 24/7, with no appointment required and at no cost.
