The following are the criteria referred to in condition 15 of Schedule 1.

Whether the areas:

a. contain an endangered ecological community as listed under the Act;

b. are contiguous with the existing native vegetation on the Air Services site;

c. are equal to or greater than 4 hectares;

d, have 1 0o/o or greater canopy cover;

e. have 30% or greater vegetation cover within,

i. a 0.55 kilometre radius (for local connectivity), and ii. a 1.75 kilometre radius (for regional connectivity),

as measured from the approximate centre point of each area;

f. have a perimeter to area ratio that is conducive to on-going conservation management; and

g. whether after applying a 50 metre disturbance buffer to the edge of each area (where that edge is likely to be made available for future urban development as identified in the SEPP), the overall size of the area then falls below 4 hectares. seHFfì1il F 4 - INNINÂTIl/tr TtrN YEAR P AVM TtittrTÂEU tr

Criteria for the fish habitat classifications Austral-Leppington Precinct Biodiversity Conservation Assessment - Criteria for Fish Habitat Classifications APPENDIX C Prepared by Cardno for the Department of Planning

Classification Characterístics of Waterway Type Minimum Recommended Crossing Type

Glass I - Major Fish Habitat Major permanently or intermittently flowing watenruay (e.9. river Bridge, arch structure or tunnel. or major creek), habitat of a threatened fish species.

Glass 2 - Moderate fish habitat Named permanent or intermittent stream, creek or watenuay Bridge, arch structure, culvert or ford. with clearly defined bed and banks and with semi-permanent to permanent waters in pools or in connected wetland areas. Marine or freshwater aquatic vegetation is present. Known fish habitat and / or fish observed inhabiting the area.

Class 3 - Minimal fish habitat Named or unnamed waterway with intermittent flow and Culvert or ford potential refuge, breeding or feeding areas for some aquatic fauna (e.9. fish, yabbies). Semi-permanent pools form within the watenryay or adjacent wetlands after a rain event. Otherwise, any minor waterway that interconnects with wetlands or recognised aquatic habitats.

Class 4 - Unlikely fish habitat Named or unnamed watercourse with intermittent flow during Culvert, causeway or ford rain events only, little or no defined drainage channel, little or no free standing water or pools after rain event (e.9. dry gullies or shallow floodplain depression with no permanent wetland aquatic flora present).
