he Dockers Foundation initial project will be the development of a new elite training and administration facility at TCockburn Central West, which will see the Fremantle Dockers become part of one of the largest community sport, leisure and education precincts in .

The facility, due to be completed in early 2017, will provide a new home for the operations of the club, integrated with regional sporting, leisure and education facilities for the community.

The club’s facility at Cockburn Central West will also be the home of the Fremantle Dockers Foundation. It will provide facilities that support the foundation’s four key pillars; including community engagement and social inclusion, elite performance and sustained on field success, pathway and development programs for aspiring athletes and securing our future.

THE NEW FACILITY WILL PROVIDE THE AND THE COMMUNITY WITH:

HIGH PERFORMANCE CENTRE = Better athlete preparation, coach and player development, and an elite pathway program for aspiring AFL players who may one day represent the Fremantle Dockers.

COMMUNITY FACILITIES = Fully equipped aquatic centre, playground and picnic areas, publicly accessible fitness and sports medicine facilities, education facilities, community offices and meeting spaces.

HEALTH AND INCLUSION = Specific programs and facilities to enhance and support the community including female, multicultural and Indigenous sports participation and education.

This project is a vital part of the club’s future and will provide facilities which will enable us to make a meaningful contribution to the wellbeing of our community, now and into the future, using football as the vehicle for a healthy, vibrant and stronger community. OUR NEW HOME

With state-of-the-art sporting, community and educational facilities, the ETAF will be a new benchmark, both in Australia and internationally, incorporating the following key club and community components into one integrated regional facility:

Administration offices for the Fremantle Football Club. Professional permanent training facilities for the Fremantle Football Club and other elite athletes in the region. AFL elite training oval. Fremantle Football Club retail shop and sports store. Hydrotherapy pool and aquatic recovery pools. 50 metre 10 lane outdoor multi-purpose competition swimming and pool. 25 metre indoor swimming pool. Regional multipurpose indoor sporting centre/indoor training centre, inclusive of six highball courts and integrated show court. Program and learn-to-swim pool. TO MAKE Children’s aquatic play area and splash pad. THIS VISION Multi-purpose community oval/pitch. A REALITY Community café. WE NEED Wellness and fitness studios including gymnasium, program rooms and rehabilitation facilities. YOUR HELP Sports medicine facilities. Education facilities including lecture theatre, health and wellness laboratories, community classrooms, multimedia facility and interactive education room. Community office and meeting spaces.

A plan for the redevelopment of the club’s existing facility at , including an ongoing presence by the Fremantle Dockers at Fremantle Oval for sporting, community, retail and commercial purposes, is being progressed.

We’re offering Fremantle Dockers members and supporters the opportunity to directly support the Fremantle Dockers in this project through the Australian Sports Foundation Ltd (ASF). The Fremantle Dockers, in partnership with the ASF, are funding the development of the club’s training and administration facilities within the the new Cockburn Central West precinct.
