With three of those four players lost to graduation, including a pair that are currently playing professionally overseas, the 2015-16 team will look to a group that features two junior college transfers and eight underclassmen to help fill the void. Just two of the top six scorers return, led by Ryan Bowie’s 13.0 ppg, and the team will be looking to replace 76.6 percent of last season’s potent offense. Along with Hill, who was the only C-USA player to rank among the league’s top-five in points (16.0 ppg) and rebounds (8.1 rpg) and now suits up for the Sydney Kings in Australia’s National Basketball League, 10th-year head coach Brooks Thompson is tasked with finding replacements for 7-footer Kaj- Björn Sherman (12.0 ppg/7.0 rpg) and shooting guard Keon Lewis (15.4 ppg/3.1 apg). Leading the charge of UTSA’s new up-tempo offense Ryan Bowie will be Bowie, who ranked among the conference’s best in six offensive categories including steals (1.17 came off the bench 25 times last year.
