JOB SUMMARY

Oversees the day to day operations in accordance with company standards, mission statement, vision and values. Team members, guests and financial performance are the key priorities. Manages strategies, goals and objectives, monitoring financial and operational plans for the hotels while, managing, growing and fostering positive owner relations. Optimizes commercial activities to deliver budget.

JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Increases and maintains the value of the asset. Owns and manages the relationship with owner.  Is directly responsible for the implementation of sales and revenue management strategy of the hotel.  Manages the operations of the hotel in order to maximize profitability and to ensure superior guest service and product quality.  Manages performance across all departments’ as well as trains, develops, coaches, counsels and conducts performance evaluations.  Responsible for SOPs and operation standards.  Interacts in a positive way with all team members to ensure a good guest experience.  Develop leaders who are collaborative, enabling and entrepreneurial.  Creates new programs in response to market conditions and revenue opportunities.  Develops, recommends, implements and manages the hotel's annual budget and long-term business plan. Achieves budgeted sales and maximum profitability.  Protects the hotel’s financial assets by properly administering policies and procedures for handling cash, credit cards, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and all other financial transactions.  Properly administers policies and procedures for protecting the safety of guests and employees.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 With the hotel transitioning to Delta by Marriott, experience in a Marriott-affiliated hotel is a definite plus.  Minimum of 10 years’ operational management experience in hotel operations.  Culturally adaptable with strong focus on owner relationship.

 Ability to create positive, appropriate, effective and sustainable working relationships at all levels in all circumstances, both internally and externally.  Passionate about delivering a great guest experience  Ready to lead by example, coach and motivate your team  Natural leadership, ready to empower, motivate and coach the team to deliver an outstanding guest experience  Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.  Excellent decision-making ability and analytical skills.  Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications.  Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
