Beween the fall of 2011 and the spring of 2015, our class has been a part of Burlington High School’s daily life and culture. Many of us have been together since preschool, and others have joined Burlington’s Class of 2015 at vari- ous points along the way. While it’s impossible to capture the spirit of “farewell” that colors the last few days of se- nior year, The Devil’s Advocate nevertheless wanted to give it a shot. The editorial staff sent out a survey to the senior class, asking questions about each student’s post-gradua- tion plans. Compiled all around are the responses of Burl- ington High School’s Class of 2015. Take a look, BHS, and see where this year’s seniors are headed!

Note: Responses are printed as given. Some students opted out of the survey, and as such, are not listed here.

Three weeks ago, sixteen teams entered the playoffs, all hoping to win the Stanley Cup. On April 30th, the 16 teams, who made the playoffs, faced off. In the East, the number one seed played the eighth seed, which was the New York Rangers vs. the Pittsburgh Pen- guins. The Rangers downed the Penguins in just five games, moving on to play the winner of the Washington Capitals and New York Islanders series. In seven games, the Capitals squeezed by the Islanders. The other series’ in the East were the Ottawa Senators vs. the Montreal Canadiens and the Tampa Bay Lightning vs. the Detroit Red Wings. The Mon- treal Canadiens defeated the Ottawa Senators in 6 games after winning the first 3 games. The Lightning defeated the Red Wings in 7 games in a series that could have resulted in either team winning. In the West, The first place team was the Anaheim Ducks, so they played the Win- nipeg Jets. The Ducks swept the Jets in four games. The St. Louis Blues played against the Minnesota Wild and the Wild upset the Blues and won in six games. The Vancouver Canucks played against the Calgary Flames, and the Flames also upset the Canucks by winning in 6 games.
