With all these all-you-can-eat options, there’s a reason to come back every day they’re open. As many supper clubs are beginning to do in response to the mid-morning meal’s rising popularity, the Copper Dock offers brunch on Sundays. They feature made-to-order omelettes, a carving station, several egg dishes, seafood, pasta, bacon, sausage, french toast, potato options, and homemade desserts. I could never say no to a brunch spread like that. Like the bartenders, the wait staff clearly knows what they’re doing, and they’re attentive, friendly, and helpful. Your food, delivered with a flourish, along with the white linen tablecloths, reminds you that this is a special experience, and one you’ll want to revisit again and again. Delicious desserts are also available, as well as after dinner drinks a-plenty, so save room, if you can. If not, just keep it in mind for your next visit. My favorite part about the Copper Dock is that it makes me want to visit year-round. Its location on the water gives it an almost yacht club type atmosphere in the summer. The outdoor deck offers festive bistro and plenty of tables for dining, and there are seating areas along the lake side of the supper club for pre- or post-dinner cocktails while visiting with friends. Another summer treat, as one of the bartenders told me, is that there is an informal private water ski show of sorts most evenings during the spring and summer. One of the residents of the lake practices water skiing starting early in the spring,
