Grŵp Iechyd a Gwasanaethau Cymdeithasol Health and Social Services Group Our ref: ATISN 10049 18 January 2016 Dear , Thank you for your e-mail of 16 December to the Welsh Government, requesting information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000: ATISN 10049 You asked for the title, number of copies and respective cost of newspapers, magazines and other periodicals purchased since 2012. The Welsh Government holds information in response to your request, and this is enclosed at Annex 1. Please note that I am only providing details of those publications to which we subscribe. There may be individual copies of journals, etc. that individuals or teams have purchased on a one-off basis. However, to identify these we would need to go through all transactions to identify what, if anything, was purchased. To identify and gather any such information would exceed the appropriate limit, as set out by the Freedom of Information and Data Protection (Appropriate Limit and Fees) Regulations 2004, as we would require all Departments to go through all payment requests for the period, including T&S claims to identify if, and what purchases were made. If you are dissatisfied with the Welsh Government’s handling of your request, you can ask for an internal review within 40 working days of the date of this response. Requests for an internal review should be addressed to the Welsh Government’s Freedom of Information Officer at: Information Rights Unit, Welsh Government, Cathays Park, Cardiff, CF10 3NQ. or Email:
