The 6'2" senior from Aplington, Iowa has emerged as a key forward for the Iowa State women's team in the past four years. Tesha Buck University of Green Bay Chelsea Poppens has been selected as a candidate for the Senior CLASS Award. To be eligible for the award, Joanna Hedstrom University of Minnesota a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four Tyseanna Johnson Iowa State University areas of excellence – community, classroom, character Clarissa Ober South Dakota State U and competition. Well respected by opposing coaches for her tireless effort, Poppens was one of just three Rebekah Dahlman Vanderbilt University unanimous picks to the All-Big 12 First Team. She Kristina White University of Vermont averaged 14.2 points and 10.6 rebounds last season, making her the only player in the Big 12 to average a Kayonna Lee Illinois State University double-double. to link your child with our club and the extra insurance that is carried in and out of state. Also, (and this is a must) make sure to pay the extra $2 coverage. The extra $2 will cover athletes at all tournaments whether they are AAU sanctioned

Bill Larson has found himself involved in a much larger role at the

National AAU level. Two years ago Vice President Boo Williams asked Bill to join the Executive Girls’ Basketball Board. Director Bill Larson agreed and is now one of nine select members involved in every aspect of AAU basketball. His first meeting of the month was the responsibility of selecting various locations for future AAU National tournaments. “It was a large task with a lot on the table. It is important to get it right.” “Cities are not offering just gyms they are offering full experiences for players, coaches, and parents.”

NIKE HEADQUARTERS Bill traveled to Portland Oregon for his annual Nike meeting only a few weeks ago. He notices big trends that are developing in youth basketball - Trends that are a reaction to the change in the NCAA calendar that will be put into effect this upcoming season. .
