Essentially, whilst we're here for winter maintenance work there's no good reason to turn away the few intrepid travellers who would like to take a wander round. We had far more people in November this year than last year, probably because the weather wasn't too dreadful. Chatelherault Country Park Our Retail Event was held in December this year, instead of November which could explain the drop in visitor numbers compared to November 2013. Cragganmore Distillery Visitor Centre Closed from 1.11.2014 Glasgow Science Centre November is 'winter hours' so we operate 5 days instead of 7. Closed Monday and Tuesday, Open 10-3 Wed-Fri and 10-5 Sat and Sun. (FYI summer opening is 10-5 x 7 days.) Highland Wildlife Park We are currently undergoing a Cafe renovation within the visitor centre. This has affected or takings in the catering outlet. New Lanark World Heritage Site We saw a dramatic increase in visitor numbers in November due to the Great Tapestry of Scotland exhibition which ran until 23rd November. and contributed to a rise in the number of admissions through our Visitor Centre. We also opened our Christmas Experience on 28th November and saw over 500 visitors to this during the first weekend. Scottish Crannog Centre Was closed for most of November. Only opened for the first couple of days of the month. _________________ 1 Ticket spend per visitor (Ticket SPV) divides the total ticket revenue by the number of visitors from ticket-revenue submitting sites 2 Spend per ticket sold divides the total ticket revenue by the number of tickets sold. 4 Site-specific report November 2014 u Responses for November 2014 were received from 209 sites u 19 sites requested confidentiality, and although their numbers have been included in the calculations, they do not appear in the tables below. u 13 sites have not submitted results this month last year and thus do not appear in the tables below.
