Bristol Motor Speedway, .533-mile @roushfenway Sprint Cup Series Roush Fenway Returns to “Thunder Valley” Bristol Roush Fenway Racing heads back through the Cumberland Gap to Johnson City, Tenn. for the second time this Sat. 8/22/15 - 7:00 PM ET season as the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) returns to the Bristol Motor Speedway, a track that has seen a NBCSN, PRN, Sirius 90 Roush Fenway Ford visit Victory Lane 18 times. Trevor Bayne, No. 6 Tennessee Love AdvoCare Ford Fusion Roush Fenway has called Victory Lane at Bristol home in all three of NASCAR’s major divisions, including 11 NSCS wins. In addition, RFR has five wins at Bristol in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) and two wins in the Greg Biffle, No. 16 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS). Cheez-It Ford Fusion Runner Up Ricky Stenhouse Jr, No. 17 Roush Fenway’s history at Bristol began on April 10, 1988 with the No. 6 NSCS car earning a second-place finish. Roush Fenway swept the track in 2003 and put a NSCS car in Victory Lane at least once in every season from 2002-2008. Roush Performance Ford Roush Fenway BristolWins Thunder on the Track 1993-2 Martin Cup Roush Fenway has earned five victories, 23 top-five finishes, 36 top-10 finishes and an average finish of 14.1 at 1998-2 Martin Cup Bristol in the XFINITY Series. Former Roush Fenway driver David Ragan earned the organization’s most recent 2002-1 Busch Cup XFINITY victory at the .533-mile short track in the Aug. 2009 event. 2003-1 Busch Cup 2003-2 Busch Cup Dash-4-Cash 2004-1 Busch Cup Following Elliott Sadler’s fifth-place finish at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, he is now eligible for the third round 2005-2 Kenseth Cup of the Dash-4-Cash program.
