AFFILIATION AND REGISTRATIONS (i) CLUB (a) Each club shall affiliate with the USGAA, through the electronic registration system no later than 11:59p.m. PST April 30th. All affiliating and/or registering clubs shall be required to have 13 Playing Members registered at this time. Clubs in the first 3 years of existence, to be classified as “Developmental Clubs”, may register with less than 13 players, but no less than 9 players in the respective code. Each Club shall ensure that its players/members register with the USGAA Registrar through the electronic registration system, or else the player will be deemed ineligible to participate. (b) Club or player registrations that are submitted past the appropriate deadline cannot be accepted.

    23 Ron Lancaster The man known as ‘The Little General’ began his career with the Roughriders in 1963 after being acquired in a trade from the Ottawa Rough Riders. Lancaster, who hailed from Fairchance, Pa., went on to play 16 seasons at quarterback for the Green and White before retiring in 1978. Lancaster retired as the CFL’s all-time leader in passing yards (50,535) and still holds Saskatchewan’s franchise records in career pass attempts (5,834), completions (3,186), yards (46,710) and touchdown passes (299). He was named a West Division all-star seven times (1966, 1968-70, 1973, 1975-76) and a CFL all-star four times (1970, ’73, ’75 and ’76) and won the Schenley Award as the league’s most outstanding player twice (1970 and ’76). Lancaster helped the Roughriders win the first Grey Cup title in franchise history in 1966 — they beat Ottawa 29-14 — and played in four other CFL championship games. He was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1982 and the Roughriders’ Plaza of Honour in 1987. After his playing career ended, Lancaster had a successful run as a colour commentator on CFL telecasts and as a coach and administrator in the league with the Roughriders, Edmonton Eskimos and Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He guided both the Eskimos and Tiger-Cats to CFL titles as a head coach and posted 142 career wins in his coaching career. Lancaster’s number 23 was retired by the Roughriders on June 21, 1979. He died on Sept. 18, 2008, after suffering a heart attack.

No food, drink, gum, sunflower seeds (any seed casings) or spitting allowed on the turf. 2. Tennis shoes, flats, turf shoes or molded cleats allowed. No metal cleats allowed. 3. The Field Supervisor and/or Town of Castle Rock Athletic Staff shall act upon any and all situations not covered explicitly in these rules. All decisions will be final. 4. Town of Castle Rock reserves the right to re-classify a team at any point in the season in order to maintain a fair balance of competition. This will only be done with the cooperation of the teams involved. (if applicable) 5. Town of Castle Rock reserves the right to expel any team from the league for reasons of conduct, failure to observe rules, regulations and procedures and/or failure to field a team for 1 or more games. Written notifications of such actions will be provided to the individual and/or team manager. 6. Teams are responsible for knowing the rules. 7.     Roughrider General Managers Jeremy O’Day 2015, 2019-Current Jeremy O’Day was named vice president of football operations & general manager on January 18, 2019. This is O’Day’s second tenure as the Riders’ general manager after he was officially named the franchises 15th general manager on August 31, 2015 – a positional he held on an interim basis for the final nine games of that season. The former Roughriders offensive lineman moved into the front office after retiring as a player in February 2011, accepting the position of football operations co-ordinator. In 2012 he was named assistant general manager, a position he held for the next four years. In December of 2015, O’Day was named assistant vice president of football operations & administration under Chris Jones. In this role, O’Day led many day-to-day football operations activities, including player evaluations, contract negotiations, and co-ordinating training camp, mini camps and free-agent camps. He also participated in the scouting of NFL, NCAA and U Sports games. O’Day’s playing career in the CFL began in 1997, when he joined the Toronto Argonauts after a standout career at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. He played two seasons with the Argos, winning a Grey Cup with them in 1997. In 1999, O’Day signed as a free agent with Saskatchewan and spent the next 12 seasons on the Riders’ offensive line. He started 202 regular-season games for Saskatchewan, which ranks him 12th on the club’s all-time list of games played. He also appeared in 16 playoff games and three Grey Cup games with the Roughriders, helping them win the CFL title in 2007.
