VICTORIA FALLS > 2 Nights Day 10 - Flight to Victoria Falls, Chinotimba Township & sundowner cruise (B) Fly to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe and join your group for a guided sightseeing tour of Chinotimba Township. • Visit a local village of the Nambya and Tonga people touring township-life. • See some of the oldest houses to the taverns, the local market and churches. • Day 3: ($65/75*) (Afternoon, 4 hours) Take a ferry to Robben Island, the historic symbol of apartheid and South Africa’s struggle for freedom. You’ll set off on a guided tour of UNESCO- recognized site led by a former political prisoner. The island’s prison was in operation until 1996 and held many political prisoners, including Nelson Mandela, You’ll see the jail cell where the former South African president was held for 18 years and learn more about the Nobel laureate’s life and work, which helped end apartheid. After your tour, take the ferry back to the Victoria & Alfred waterfront and enjoy free time to explore the area. *Please note - This excursion is weather-dependent. In the case of inclement weather, it will be moved to the afternoon of day 4.

• Day 5: Cape Winelands Tasting & Lunch ($99/109*) (Morning, with lunch, 6 hours) Leave the city behind for a scenic drive from Cape Town through the valleys of the Cape Winelands, finally arriving in the Stellenbosch wine regino. Among the mountainous, tree-lined surroundings, get a taste for the region’s finest labels including Pinotage. Continue on to the next winery estate for another wine tasting and a light lunch. Afterward, relax and soak in the vineyard scenery before returning to Cape Town.

• Day 8: Shangana Cultural Village & Dinner ($69/79*) (Evening, with dinner, 3 hours) Visit traditional villages of Shangana, located midway between the Blyde River Canyon and southern Kruger National Park. Chief Isreal Ngobeni and his family host the Evening Festival, where choirs, actors and dancers gather to tell the story of the Shangana people. Dinner will follow the cultural visit.
