Some 2008 - 2010 Super Duty F250 - F550 equipped with 6.4L diesel engines may exhibit low fuel pressure without diagnostic trouble code P0232. Vehicles may exhibit DTCS P0087 and/ or P2291 with low fuel pressure due to poor fuel delivery or the HFCM water in fuel drain valve not being fully closed. Do not immediately replace the Horizontal Fuel Conditioning Module (HFCM). Fol- low diagnostics. If fuel aeration is confirmed after performing PCED diagnostic subroutine 9 re- move fuel tank and fuel sender per workshop manual section 310-01. Inspect sender assembly for loose or missing rubber fuel pickup or incorrect sender resistance. Sender resistance should be 180 OHMS +/ - 2 OHMS with fuel sender in the empty position. If sender resistance is out of specifica- tion, replace the fuel sender with new service component. 2010 Taurus/ Flex - Intermittent Speedometer Sticking At One Speed
