INVC, Panchkula, The pioneer of many musical soundscapes and multi award winning producer and performer Bally Sagoo launched his brand new album “Future Shock” at the Golden Tulip Ambient Resort & Spa sitting amidst the the Morni Hills near here today. Ms Nandita Hooda, Managing Director, Golden Tulip was also present on the occasion. “Future Shock” is his first studio album in almost 10 years and during this time he has created more than 70 songs from which he has compiled the album. Recorded in Mumbai, Chandigarh, Africa and England the final result reflects his ethnic roots and his unique, down-tempo and ambient elements. “Future Shock” is an eclectic collection of the various 'Sagoo swings and moods' that he went through whilst making this album. During the album launch, Bally Sagoo said, "To the listeners and followers of my work, who have patiently waited for 'soooooo' long, I hope I made them proud. This is an album that I worked really hard on over the years, discovering some great new voices and putting the right beats together. Though being around for more than two decades, Bally has re-invented himself to today's contemporary music proving he is still the 'king of the beats'. Outside of India, the album is being globally released by Fresh Dope Records– Bally’s new UK and Belgium-based label. Launched at the end of 2012, Fresh Dope Records is a division of Fresh Dope Industries – an all new, multi-faceted entertainment company that Bally will be using as a springboard into exciting TV, Movies, Publishing and Fashion projects over the coming months. Baljit Singh Sagoo – "Bally Sagoo" – is a British-Indian music Producer and Artist born May 19th, 1964 in Delhi. Raised from an early age in England, he is based in Birmingham, UK and has a satellite studio in Mumbai. Bally developed an affinity toward reggae, soul and disco, which inspired him to create mix-tapes and freelance as a DJ at local event. He started his career with a local record label that approached him to remix a track titled “Hey Jamal”. The track gained great popularity, elevating Bally's reputation in the industry and leading to the release of his first album “Wham Bam”. Bally's second album “Bollywood Flashback” was a smash hit and he became the first Indian artist to be play listed on the UK’s national mainstream radio.
