The presence of Danny Willett and Bernd Wiesberger confirmed at the Omega European Masters 2021!

Two players in their thirties have confirmed their arrival on the Haut Plateau for this 74th edition:

33-year-old Danny Willett, the 2015 winner in Crans-Montana, participates for the 11th time in the tournament. His greatest victory is undoubtedly the one he won at the Augusta Masters in 2016. In that year, just like in 2015, he finished 2nd in the European ranking. At the "British Masters 2021, hosted by Danny Willett", the headline sponsor promised £1,000 for every birdie he made. He went on to shoot 19 birdies and raised £19,000 for charity. With 7 European titles to his credit, Danny Willett will undoubtedly be a fierce competitor.

35-year-old Bernd Wiesberger finished 3rd on the European Tour in 2019, after winning three tournaments that year including the Scottish Open and the Italian Open. He will try to play to the top of the leaderboard at the Omega European Masters 2021, his previous best result being a 6th place finish in 2012.Vienna native, Bernd, is the most successful Austrian golfer with 8 victories to his name on the European Tour. In 2021, Wiesberger has successfully defended his title at the Made in HimmerLand tournament in Denmark and finished 5th at the BMW International Open, increasing his chances of being selected for the 2021 European Ryder Cup team.
