All start times Central Time unless noted otherwise CREIGHTON GAME POSTPONED: The Jackrabbits’ game scheduled for March 20 at Creighton has been postponed due to concerns over field conditions at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Nebraska. No makeup date has been determined. 2019 TEAM game highs STEIGER AND SMITH STREAKING: Two of the top three hitters in the Jackrabbit bat- ting order are working on long hitting streaks. TEAM – BATTING Sophomore shortstop Gus Steiger holds the team’s longest active hitting streak at 10 AT-BATS: 53, at Alabama, 3-6-2019 games, dating back to a two-hit performance March 2 against Missouri. Named the Summit RUNS SCORED: 15, vs. UT Martin, 2-15-2019 League Player of the Week on March 11, Steiger is batting .404 (21-of-52) during his current HITS: 16, vs. UT Martin, 2-15-2019, and at UA Little hitting streak with five doubles, two home runs and 11 runs batted in. Rock, 3-9-2019 [Game 1] Senior outfielder Nick Smith enters the week on a nine-game hitting streak, during which RUNS BATTED IN: 12, vs. UT Martin, 2-15-2019 DOUBLES: 4, at UA Little Rock, 3-9-2019 [Game 1] he is hitting .324 (11-for-34).
