2. Say Oath. (On my honor I will do my best ...) Scout Sign - Your thumb and little finger touch to represent the bond that unites Scouts throughout the world. (see page 22 of )

4. Say The . (Be Prepared) (motto, two Ts like “Be Prepared” is two words)

5. Say The Scout Slogan. (Do A Good Turn Daily) (S as in Spin around, turn)

6. Say The Outdoor Code. (see page 28 of Boy Scout Handbook)

7. Scout handshake. (left hand, closer to the heart)

8. Explain the scout badge. (see page 31 of Boy Scout Handbook, three points of the Scout Oath (duty to God, country (duty to others), duty to self), Shape - point the right way in life as a compass does in the field, two stars - truth and knowledge and camping outdoors, scroll - remember to smile when you do your duty, eagle with shield - freedom and a Scout’s readiness to defend that freedom (national emblem of the USA), knot - reminder to Do A Good Turn Daily)

16. Explain the Arrow of Light badge. Seven rays of light, one for each day of the week. They will remind you to do your best as you follow the arrow that leads to Boy Scouting.
