Synopsis of Amc Connect Chalo Mulund Bhandup Vikhroli SYNOPSIS OF AMC CONNECT CHALO MULUND BHANDUP VIKHROLI Date : 3rd August 2018 Venue : Godrej Memorial Hospital, Vikhroli. Dr. Samir R Pradhan, AMC and IMA life member, a practising OBGYN from Mulund and Consultant at Godrej Memorial Hospital was the Master of the Ceremony and 92 of the prospective 103 delegates who had registered on Whatsapp, attended the programme. The CME was held at the Godrej Memorial Hospital auditorium and after the Registration formalities and Delicious Lunch, the programme started sharp at 2.00 pm. AMC Zonal Director, Dr. Debashish Das was the opening batsman who Congratulated the Energetic AMC President Dr. Vipin Checker, for a Series of AMC Connects and stressed the importance of Teamwork wherein Together Everyone Achieves More. This message was well driven home by comparing it with this year’s FIFA wherein Team Approach scored over Individual Talent. Following this, Dr. Pravin Swamy, CEO of GMH gave an Overview Of the Facilities at Godrej Memorial Hospital and Highlighted the Importance Of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. The Next talk was by the Dynamic AMC Secretary, Dr. Sushmita Bhatnagar, who gave a lucid presentation on various AMC Schemes, the importance of AMC NOAH wing and the Benefits of AMC Mobile App with the SOS button. The ‘Bhay’ following the implementation of POCSO Act was laid to rest by the Charming and Elegant Doctor Advocate Nilima Vaidya Bhamare. She mesmerised the audience with a Comprehensive yet Concise Provisions of POCSO Act and Also Enlightened one and all with the Correct Procedure Of Examination Of a Victim Of Rape. During the subsequent discussion of this Controversies Subject, Dr Vipin Checker gave very important tips and practical points to balance the Provisions Of POCSO and MTP and stressed on the Importance Of Sensitising the Police of our Area with the help of AMC Medicolegal Manual for Police. Next, Mrs Daisy Raj, Director Operations at GMH and an NABH Assessor gave a step by step Approach to be followed by Nursing Home Owner to get NABH Accreditation but also Subtly pointed out that the Entry level Accreditation is for 18 months following which , one has to go for full Accreditation. As this Statutory NABH Accreditation Requirement is going to add an Extra Financial Burden on Proprietors Of Nursing Homes, Mr Vinod Mehta, a Senior Chartered Accountant stressed the Importance Of Generating a Second Income, the Value Of getting a Patent and provided a Variety of Options which One can Explore for a Second Income. Dr Parag Patil, AMC and FOGSI Committee Member, a Practicing OBGYN and Sexual Medicine Specialist from Kalyan, used his personal experience to enlighten the Audience, regarding a Step by Step protocol to be followed to Renew MPCB Registration, Online. The Last session and the main attraction of the programme was an Interactive Panel Discussion, moderated by Dr. Samir R Pradhan and Dr. Sachin Dalal with eminent Panelist being Dr. Ramesh Punjani (IMA Mulund President), Dr Mahesh Thakker(IMA Mulund Vice- President), Dr. Asha Advani ( MCGM Naternal Mortality In-Charge), Dr Adv Nilima Vaidya Bhamare and Dr Kanishka Kapasi ( OBGYN Dept. Coordinate at GMH) All the Panelist gave Excellent and Crisp Take Home Messages and it was followed by a very step by step presentation by Dr Sachin Dalal on Precautions to be followed under PCPNDT Act , so as to avoid one’s Ultrasound Machine from getting Sealed . Dr Asha Advani stressed about the precautions to be followed under the PCPNDT Act .
