MARTHA STEWART Mary Martha Groves Stewart, 96, of St. Clairsville, OH, died Tues­ day, August 9, 2016, at Wheeling Hospital. She was bom March 23, 1920, in Egypt Valley, OH, a daughter of the late Earl and Hazel Williamson Groves. Martha retired as co­ owner of Stewart’s* Mobile Home and R.V. in St. Clairsville and a member of First Presbyterian Church. As the matriarch of the fam­ ily, she enjoyed sewing and cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She was generous, caring and loving and one of the great­ est moms to many. In addition to her par­ ents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ray Stewart; her daughter, Jane Stewart (James) Sanati; a sister, Dorothy (Dale) Murphy; two brothers, Bernard and Charles Groves; and sister- in-law, Lois Groves. Surviving are her three children, Carole Stewart (Robert) Sabo of St. Clairsville, Thomas R. (Jackie) Stewart of Tall- madge, OH, and Robert E. She retired from the State of Ohio as an admin­ istrative personnel for the Ohio Environmental Agency, Employment Agency, and the Ohio Student Loan Commission. Beans Foundry; an Army veteran and a member of East Richland Friends Church. He was preceded in death by six siblings: Jack, Dwayne, Albert, Inez, Vera and Betty Stewart. Surviving are his wife. STEWART, Holland Allman Jr., 71, of Cross Lanes, WV, went home to be with the Lord on August 27, 2013. He was born in Wheeling, WV, to Rolland and Leona Stewart of Flushing, OH. He" was preceded in death by his father and mother, and also his sisters, Blanch Cassells and Rosalind Mattox. Rolland graduated from Flushing High School in 1960. He spent 14 years with Hillandale Farms in Flushing before joining United Parcel Service in Wheeling, WV in in 1974. Rolland gave 25 dedicated years of service to UPS, working in a variety of positions and multiple loca­ tions, before retiring in 1999, in Charleston, WV. He attended the Christ Life Fellowship Jn. South Charleston. Rolland was a devoted husband and father, and was survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Sue; his children, Shawn Stewart and wife Tiffany of St Petersburg, FL; Yvonne Hocker of Bellaire, OH; Dawn Stewart of Martins Ferry, OH; Heather Dokes and husband, Danny of Marlins Ferry, OH; Angie Stewart of St. Petersburg, FL; Todd Dillon of Culpeper, VA: his sister, Florence Stewart of Cleveland, OH; 16 grand­ children and two great­ grandchildren. Interment in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville. * CRAIG STIDD Craig Andrew Stidd, 51, of St. Clairsville, OH died Friday. February 17, 2017. He was born July 28, 1965, a son of Doris Fortu- na Stidd. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Frank and Pearl Fortuna, and fraternal grandparents Harry and Lucille Johnson Stidd. Craig attended Union Local and Joint Vocational Schools and was a former employee of St. Clairsville Schools. He was a loving son, father, brother and grandfa­ ther and he was truthful, faithful and loyal. He was an avid reader and outdoorsman, who loved to lake his grandchil­ dren fishing. His grand­ daughter, Alice, was his constant companion. Surviving, in addition to his mother, Doris, are two daughters, LeiAnn Michelle Stidd and Kirstie Lynn Stidd; two grandchildren, Alice J. Stidd and Jace Mon­ roe; his brother, Kirk Allen Stidd; and two sisters, Kim­ berly Ann (Harlan) Snyder and Lea Michele (Mike) Kolakowski.
