Coos County dispatchers received a report of a crash at the intersection of Cape Arago Highway and Kellogg Avenue at 11:41 a.m. Arriving officers found a dark-colored sedan had crashed into a telephone pole, which broke at the base and caused an outage. Pacific Power estimated the incident left approximately 2,191 customers without power. The driver was taken from the scene by Bay Cities Ambu- lance.
