Animation & Music Camp

Program: In our Stop Motion Animation camp young creators ages 5-9 will learn and create original animation movies and engage in activities designed to cultivate curiosity, creativity, self- expression and friendship. They are guided through the steps of producing movies with cool themes, titles, sound effects and a whole host of unique features and work with variety of materials to create their stop-motion’s objects, sets, figures, props, sequential drawing or animate toys. Our enriching summer experience is designed so that children additionally to movie making explore sound, music, drumming, martial arts and other activities indoor and outdoor including a daily recess at the John Street lawn in Park. Small group limited to 6 campers a day. Students are required to bring their own iPad or iPhone to camp with the appropriate charger.

Program: Automatic Studios Movie Arts© CAMPS give students the opportunity to be part of a creative team and experience working on a real movie set! BASIS Independent Brooklyn Summer Camp

Program: BASIS Independent Brooklyn provides an academic summer session for students in grades 5 and above from our school, as well as for students at other public and private schools in our area. Brooklyn Friends Summer Arts

Program: Summer Arts at Brooklyn Friends School offers a diverse and exciting art experience, while honing core competencies such as collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills for children who will be entering grades 3 through 7 in September 2018. Children are taught by working and exhibiting artists, who are selected for their artistic accomplishments, as well as their experience working with children. Brooklyn Friends Summer Camp

Program: We offer three sessions of engaging activities designed to cultivate curiosity, creativity, self-expression and positive social interaction. Each week, Preschool Fours campers will have in-house visitors, and Kindergarten, first and second grade campers will participate in off-site field trips. In addition to our specialized activities, all campers participate in our core summer camp elements each session, including swimming, cooking, yoga and more.

Brooklyn Music School Summer Music and Dance Institute

Program: This "best-kept-secret" for an affordable and enriching summer experience for children is designed so that families can choose one week or all seven weeks for their children to explore music, dance, and other fun summer activities at the Brooklyn Music School. For children 9 and up we provide more focused music and dance intensives that delve into the study and practice of dance, strings, rock, jazz, hip hop, drums and more. Kids In The Game Summer Camp

Program: Kids in the Game puts on the city's most affordable and well-balanced 8-week camp for kids entering Pre-K4 through 8th grade. Camp counselors include current and former college athletes, school teachers, and fitness coaches to ensure kids get the most fulfilling and enriching experience possible. Kidville Summer Camps

Program: Kidville Park Slope and Kidville Carroll Gardens offers camp for 2s and 3s throughout the spring and summer and is offered half days all semester. Lango Kids Summer Camp

Program: Camp Lango—our signature summer program—combines all the fun of traditional summertime activities with all the rigor of a Spanish or Mandarin immersion language program. Led by our talented teaching staff, students learn through a variety of creative exercises (e.g. crafts, music, yoga and dance) and cultural explorations of the Spanish or Mandarin-speaking world. Language and Laughter Studio Summer Camp

Program: Pioneer in bilingual education in Brooklyn with over ten years of experience, the Language and Laughter Studio camps combine summertime fun and rigorous, interactive language learning. Open House Nursery School Summer Camp

Program: Summer at Open House is a warm and nurturing place for young children to have fun and explore friendships. Summer days at Open House are filled with joy – packed with structured and unstructured activities tailored to young children’s social and emotional development. The League of Young Inventors Summer Institute 2018

Program: This summer the League of Young Inventors is offering four different week long camps designed to unlock the mysteries of our mechanical world. Each week combines storytelling, hands-on exploration, and construction to spark a young inventor’s curiosity and creativity. Camp themes include INVENTIONS OF PLAY: THE ART & DESIGN OF TOYS and SPY CAMP:THE ART & DESIGN OF BEING SNEAKY. The Stage Theater School

Program: The Stage Theater School camps offer the finest quality of performing arts training in a fun, creative and supportive environment. All of our camp staff are professional performers from Broadway or nationally touring shows. Campers work on a Musical throughout the week which they perform for family and friends in costume on Saturday morning. Campers receive daily lessons in dance, drama and singing. Older campers in our Center Stage camps receive daily workshops from Broadway performers from shows such as 'Hamilton', 'Wicked' and 'Matilda' to name a few. Our younger Theater Bugs campers aged 4-6 years also get to enjoy an arts and crafts hour each day. All camp classes divided by age group with small class numbers.

Textile Arts Center Summer Camp

Program: Textile Arts Center Summer Camp welcomes campers ages 5-13 to create and connect with the world of contemporary and historical textiles in interactive and exciting week long programs. With each new session of camp your child will create an in depth project in Weaving Class or Textile Surface Design Class, as well as daily craft projects using fiber and textile processes and concepts drawn from the exhibition we visit on our field trip.

Program: Treasure Trunk Theatre's imaginative program encourage students to use their bodies, voices, and imaginations to express themselves and connect to the world around them. Art Workshop Experience (AWE SUMMER)

Program: Art Workshop Experience (AWE) is for young artists (9-18 years) who want to make art in a studio environment and build their artistic skills. Program: Campers start the day with a full camp drum circle, and then break off into bands to work together as teams writing original songs. They spend the morning jamming in our fully equipped band studios, go to the park for lunch and to run around, and then hop across the street to Brooklyn Boulders’ for an hour of rock climbing!
