WE SAT DOWN WITH SECOND- YEAR CHEERLEADER, QISA, FOR A QUICK Q & A.

TOP OF YOUR BUCKET LIST? To swim with dolphins. I’ve always been obsessed with The Little Mermaid and dreamt of having a life filled with sea adventure.

NAME AN INSPIRING/INFLUENTIAL WOMAN IN YOUR LIFE: I am inspired by my friend Lauren. Her daughter, Jade, was diagnosed with Fanconi Anemia and recently underwent a bone marrow transplant, and every day her little body is fighting to stay strong! Despite it all, Lauren continues to be a rock. She’s so positive while she keeps her faith and prays for better days.

HOW DO YOU DEFINE “EMPOWERED”? I think of someone who has a great deal of influence. I also think strong, courageous and, ‘dances to the beat of their own drum.’

FAVORITE WORKOUT TIP? Remembering ‘Your mind will quit a thousand times before your body will.’

MOST VALUED LESSON AS AN MVC? Attitude is everything!
