EM Holt Elementary General PTO Minutes June 1, 2016 5:30pm

Meeting called to order at 5:35pm by PTO President, India Kingery. Members in attendance (23): Kim Sulecki, Mariah Vignali, Jamie Day, Christine Gainey, Shanon Lee, India Kingery, Mandy Campbell, Elizabeth Gilley, Pam Jacobson, Amanda Knighten, Heather Kronbergs, Kevin Kronbergs, Dawn LaLone, Shanon Lee, Melissa Long, Crissy Patterson, Janna Smith, Tina Smith, Katie Spencer, Dan Tichy, Jamie Williams, Rebecca McKendree, Elicia Limer Ms. Vignali expressed her appreciation to the PTO for the support that has benefited students and staff this past year and that she looks forward to another great year next year. Treasurer's Report presented by Shanon Lee: Cash on hand 5/9/16 $48,627.27 Deposits $ 5,402.79 Disbursements $12,639.09 Cash balance 6/1/16 $41,390.97 Shanon Lee explained large amount of purchases as: $6,208.67 going to Scholastic, $500 to deficit in lunch fund, $621.74 Follett for Books, $3,416 to Mad Science, and many other small purchases such as teacher support, hospitality, etc. Treasurer's Report approved. Motion: Pam Jacobson, Second: Elizabeth Gilley Minutes from last meeting, 4/11/16, emailed and approved by all present. Motion: Dan Tichy, Second: Shanon Lee India Kingery- Full board will be made up of 17 members total- Four officers, nine board members, two teacher representatives (elected at beginning of year), along with the principal, and vice principal. India Kingery presented approval to approve 2016-2017 PTO Officers elect as quorum was met: President: India Kingery Secretary: Jennifer Shaw Vice President: Jamie Williams Treasurer: Shanon Lee Kevin Kronbergs presented approval to approve 2016-2017 PTO Board Members elect: Ashley Harris Crissy Patterson Dan Tichy Elizabeth Gilley Jamie Hamlett Kevin Kronbergs Kim Loy Kim Sulecki Renee Johnson

20 votes were collected, all approved for above. Kevin Kronbergs to contact folks to prepare for the Fall Festival over the summer. Fall Festival 2016 will be October 14th with a rain date of October 15th Committees further broken down this year to lessen individual workload. Decision made last meeting not to do Spring Fling over a Fall Festival due to sports interference. Meeting adjourned at 5:43 by India Kingery.
