B & K Moving & Hauling, Inc.

BY THE COMMISSION:

B & K Moving & Hauling, Inc., (carrier) furnishes household goods in use service originating in the counties of Philadelphia, Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, and Bucks as more thoroughly described in the Order granting authority at A-00119130.

Carrier has filed Tariff Freight Pa. PUC No. 6 cancelling Tariff Freight Pa. PUC No. 5 and an affidavit stating that 2011 gross annual intrastate revenues were less than $500,000 and operating ratio was not less than 93%. The request is certified to the Commission for its decision without an oral hearing; the record consists of the proposed tariff and the affidavit.

DISCUSSION AND FINDINGS

Carrier proposes to increase its released value rule from $0.30 to $0.60 per pound per article, an increase in the flat charge for hoisting from $50 flat charge to $60 flat charge, and an increase in the piano/organ flat carry charges for the Baby Grand Piano from $135 to $150, an increase in the 4.5 cubic foot box and wrap, small bubble per roll from $22 to $25. Lastly, carrier proposes to increase its hourly vehicle and driver normal complement charge. The carrier currently charges $105 per hour and proposes an increase to $115 per hour, or 9%. The current rates have been in effect since June 4, 2007. It is requested that Tariff Freight Pa. PUC No. 6 become effective May 27, 2013.

CONCLUSION

We have determined that the carrier has met the requirements of 52 Pa. Code §23.67(c) and Commission Order at P-2011-2257808; THEREFORE,

IT IS ORDERED:

1. That Tariff Freight Pa. PUC No. 6 cancelling Tariff Freight Pa. PUC No. 5 is approved to become effective May 27, 2013.

2. That a copy of this order be served upon B & K Moving & Hauling, Inc.
