In this role, the Director of Nursing, Emergency Services would be responsible for overseeing multiple areas (ED, SICU, etc.) and hold responsibility for: - Overall direction and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to patients - Leadership in the execution of operational and strategic goals and objectives of assigned nursing departments/service lines - Ensuring quality care that is consistent with organizational and regulatory standards - Assuming ultimate responsibility for outcomes related to the performance of the nursing staff and professional development - Supervising Nurse Managers in assigned departments - Holding budgetary and fiscal responsibility for assigned areas

This is a full-time permanent 40-hour per week position on day-shift with start times.

Experience: - Progressive experience in Nursing Administration, prior management, supervisor, or other related leadership experience - At least 5 years of clinical experience in area of responsibility - Knowledge of administrative concepts, organizational behavior, management processes, group dynamics on legal and ethical matters as they pertain to health care organizations and the nursing profession; generally acquired through education and experience and current nursing practices

Education/Licensure/Certifications: Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing; MSN or other related Master’s Degree and current PA RN license and CPR required. National certification in Nursing or Healthcare related specialty preferred.
