For nearly 40 years Sapcote Engineering Ltd have been providing bespoke, high quality engineering solutions to the Automotive industry both in the UK and overseas.

We have the ability and capacity to design and build equipment from small fixtures and tooling components right through to full production lines on a fully installed turnkey basis.

Our level of equipment supply has covered many aspects of the production process including conveying and materials handling, workstations and operator/machine interfacing, tooling and fixtures, and various forms of inspection and testing. Some examples follow.

 Heavy duty fabricated component storage and racking systems with line feed chutes, tracks and roller transfer beds.  Operator workstations and platforms ergonomically designed for optimum component location for efficient manual and semi-automatic assembly work.  A full range of manual and automatic welding facilities with component location tooling, quick change features between variants, multi position clamping, integral air testing and poka yoke detection.  3D machined tooling profiles for robot welding in chromium copper material.  Automated testing and vision inspection of suspension mounts with secure rejecting and associated handling using our slat top conveyor system.  Automated testing and vision inspection of clutch assemblies.  Upgrades to existing manually operated equipment to include poka yoke and process control.  Fully automated forming machines for radiator tubes.  Airbag vision inspection system incorporating in line bar code reading, secure rejecting and dedicated PC based data collection package.

We offer an all under one roof service with in house machining, sheet metal, fabrication, a separate assembly and testing facility including an electrical panel building area offering plc programming in a variety of languages and PC based control and data collection packages.

We are also fully conversant with all aspects of project management, FMEA processes, risk assessment, CE marking, site working method statements and we are also ISO9002 accredited.

We operate a networked computer aided design system using the latest Inventor 3D modeling package with the facility to receive and convert IGES and CATIA files via E-mail from our suppliers.

Our project management and procurement systems use MS Access and we are able to provide project schedules in MS Project format and up to the minute progress reports for manufactured and commercial items.
