Salsa Recipe
Basic Salsa Recipe 3-4 ripe medium tomatoes ¼ - ½ cup sweet onion 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro 1 rounded Tbsp. canned chopped chili peppers 3 Tbsp. cider vinegar ½ tsp. salt 1 tsp. sugar
Other ingredients you may wish to add to enhance the flavor: 1 clove minced garlic 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil ¼ cup chopped green or red bell pepper 1 Tbsp. lemon or lime juice ¼-½ cup canned corn, drained 2-3 Tbsp. black beans 2-3 Tbsp. pineapple
Directions 1. Finely chop tomatoes and drain off excess juice. Place in a medium bowl. 2. Chop onion, parsley, cilantro and any extra ingredients you may wish to add. Mix with tomatoes. 3. Add chili peppers, vinegar, salt and sugar to bowl. 4. Mix well and enjoy with nacho chips!
