F. Verify IE 6.0 Proxy settings
1. Under Tools, select Internet Options:
2. Click the Security tab:
3. Click the Internet globe, then the Default level button. Set the slider to Medium.

5. Click the Local intranet icon. 6. Set the slider to Medium-low. (You may have to click the Default level button first)

8. Click the Trusted sites icon. 9. Set the slider to Medium-low. (You may have to click the Default level button first) 10. Click the Sites button:
11. If *.broward.k12.fl.us is not in the list, then add it. Make sure the https box is NOT checked. 12. Click Close.

14. Click the Restricted sites icon. 15. Set the slider to High. (You may have to click the Default level button first)
Page 4 16. Click the Privacy tab:
17. Set to Medium. 18. Disable (uncheck) “Turn on Pop-up Blocker”.
Page 5 19. Click the Sites button:
20. Add the entries above (if they do not exist already): 21. Type browardschools.com and click the Allow button. 22. Type k12.fl.us and click the Allow button. 23. Click OK.
Page 6 24. Click the Connections tab:
Page 7 25. Click the LAN settings button
26. Only the “Use automatic configurations script” box should be checked (like above). The address in the box should be http://pac.broward.k12.fl.us:90/tss.pac If the tss.pac is replaced by the location’s ship-to code (like pih.pac), then that is okay too.
27.Click OK to close this window.
