PTA Annual Holiday Craft Day The PTA is sponsoring a Holiday Craft Day on Tuesday, December 6th. Each student will have the opportunity to make a handmade craft. If you would like to volunteer to help please call Debbi Connelly at 738-1036.

Mayor’s Fund Can Drive Once again we are participating in the Annual Mayor’s Fund for the holiday. The Crosby students always think of others in our community during this time of year by donating can goods and other non-perishable items. We will collect items starting Wednesday, November 30th through Wednesday, December 14th. Once again, the office staff will honor the homeroom that collects the most items with a Pizza Party in January.

Student Drop Off If you are dropping students off in the morning, please do not drop them off prior to 8:00 am. Teachers do not arrive in their classrooms until that time. If you need assistance with child care prior to 8:00 am please call Generations at (513) 367-1234 for Latchkey Information. Reindeer Romp The 9th Annual Reindeer Romp is scheduled for Saturday, December 10th at 9:00 am. This is a great community event sponsored by Crosby Township. All proceeds benefit Crosby Kringle Chest – which provides presents and dinners to area families. The registration fee for the walk/run also includes a pancake breakfast.

School Delays/Closing When inclement weather occurs, parents are asked to check our Facebook page as well as the District website for information on SOUTHWEST LOCAL SCHOOLS. Please do not call the School. Also, Kindergarten Parents need to be advised that whenever school is delayed, morning kindergarten is cancelled.

Semester Ends – Early Dismissal Mark your calendar for Friday, December 16th. School will dismiss at 2:00 PM on this day, due to the end of the First Semester. Students in afternoon Kindergarten will attend 11:20 AM – 2:00 PM. (The bus will pick up afternoon Kindergarten students 1 hour early.)

Jump Start Your Day Did you know...... breakfast is offered daily in the school cafeteria starting 30 minutes prior to the school day. Students can enjoy a hot or cold entrée, fruit, juice and milk for $.95 total. Free or Reduced Price ($.30) breakfast is available to those who qualify. Please join us for a great start to a great day!

Crosby Cougar of the Week Trust, Respect, Ownership and Leadership - the epitome of a Crosby Cougar. Alli Gwinner, Landon Wagner, Riley Teeters and Isabella Thiemann have all shown these 4 amazing qualities to earn them the honor of Cougar of the Week for the month of November. Congrats to these awesome students!
