Chapter 21, Title 50 of the 1976 Code is amended 24 by adding: 25 26 “Section 50-21-131. There is established a special no wake 27 zone on that portion of the Intracoastal Waterway in Charleston 28 County beginning at the sign posted approximately one hundred 29 yards east of the Isle of Palms Connector Bridge in the vicinity of 30 statute mile 459 and extending to the sign posted approximately 31 one hundred yards southwest of the northern most intersection of 32 Morgan Creek and the Intracoastal Waterway in the vicinity of 33 Intracoastal Waterway marker 115. This zone is in effect at all 34 times for boats twenty-five feet or larger. For all other boats this 35 no wake zone is in effect from eleven o’clock a. m. until one hour 36 before sunset on those Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays 37 falling on or within May first and September thirtieth of each year. 38 The boundaries, times, and dates when this no wake zone is in 39 effect must be clearly marked with signs designed and installed as 40 specified by the department.” 41
