My Story…
I’ve had good luck my whole life…things have fallen into place and worked out. For instance, even after Langenwalter, becoming separated and moving back to CO – without a great hope of getting back into high-tech. Without specific direction, I went to college…without great grades, I got a job with a great company (HP) beating out the real brains.
The truth of it also is that I’m well positioned. I have a nice chuck of equity, I have savings, and I have nice equity in Holly. Many, many things are possible.
I’m in good shape. I’m in great health. I make friends easily. I have solid skills. I know what I want in life: house, wife, family, fun….
My Lessons…. Don’t move to quickly…really watch out for getting fixated on an idea: getting married, langenwalter, seattle (and really settling in, 58th avenue).
Discontentment…having the same restless feeling again here…always seems however for good reason. What is up with that?
Setup for dissapointment. Be expectant of things not going as planned and roll with it…make the best of what happens.
So What Now… I’m not happy in Seattle. Why? The weather mainly – its depressing. The summer starts really late and even then, we don’t get the intense sun like I like. One thing I haven’t taken advantage of however is eastern WA…that would have helped. If I were to stay, I would need to buy a place somewhere like Lake Chelan. (another toward gorge, then quincy, then ???)
Also opportunity wise…a couple of things going on. This is a ‘closed’ kind of place, all about your network. Also, not a great software base…many small companies that are struggling or have gone out of business.
Bundle all that together and I am just not motivated to sink my roots in any more here. Given a Move Back to CA…What Do I Want to Happen…What is the Possibility That I Am Creating….
The possibility that I am creating for myself and my life is the possibility of abundance, contentment, and adventure what I’m giving up is (I deserve it/looking good/) the impact this has is inaction (many alternatives and not choosing any of them) and being too safe.

What to Market? PaceSelect: terrible performance for instance for 5yr net of fees (before management however). Adding the difference in returns of the 4 pace accounts against their Russell benchmarks, the benchmarks OUTPERFORMED 5.42 for the 5 yr period (the indexes lost a combined 13.89% and the funds lost 19.3% the difference would have been greater if applying even a 1% Pace management fee, corresponding to the fees for buying indexes

You ask, "so what are you looking for?" Well here it: the "right" woman to start a family with. Although I am ready, I am not ready to compromise. I am looking for someone to build a superb, fun, engaging life together. More specifics, okay, here is a shot:
- she is comfortable dressed to the 9s in a cocktail dress at a business function to jeans & pearls to sitting around a campfire at a mountain lake - poised and confident - physically she is: slim, fit and active - sexy, but in a wholesome way - educated, 4 yr degree or more - wants kids, more than one (but none already made) - balance to me - engaging, caring, humble, fun and playful - misc: hair, definitely; height: 5'6" is ideal; weight: can't be overweight
