Semi-Monthly Pay Date Schedule for the 1998-99 School Year

LACKLAND ISD SEMI-MONTHLY PAY DATE SCHEDULE 2014-2015

SUBSTITUTES and HOURLY PAID PERSONNEL who are on the Semi-monthly payroll are paid according to the following pay periods. It is imperative that you keep a record of the exact dates worked and other information regarding those days because detailed information will not be noted on the checks.

Timesheets to pay substitutes with employee absence forms must be received in the payroll office by the end of the first business day following each week, otherwise payment to the substitute may be delayed. All substitute inquiries should be made to the campus secretary by calling 357-5053 for elementary level and 357-5101 for the secondary level. This schedule is also used for the purpose of recording “Leave Used” for regular school employees who are paid a standard semi-monthly payment plan. Time sheets are always due by the end of the day on the first business day following the end of a week. Paydays are generally the 15th and the last day of each month or as close to those dates as possible.

TEACHER SUBSTITUTES ARE CONSIDERED EXEMPT WHILE WORKING IN AN EXEMPT POSITION, i.e. TEACHER.

AUXILIARY STAFF (TEACHER AIDE, CLERICAL AIDES, FOOD SERVICE, CUSTODIAL MAINTENANCE AND TRANSPORTATION) SUBSTITUTES ARE CONSIDERED NON- EXEMPT POSITIONS AND WILL BE PAID AT THE RATE OF $8.50 PER HOUR, REGARDLESS OF DEGREE OR CERTIFICATION. USE OF THE TIMEKEEPING SYSTEM IS REQUIRED TO RECORD ALL WORK HOURS.
